Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Thank you to all of you who came out to one of our four in-person town hall meetings this past Saturday.
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet with so many of you face-to-face in Gig Harbor, Vaughn, Port Orchard, and Bremerton and to hear directly from you about the issues on your mind.
I hope you left the event feeling more informed on some of our biggest priorities, including housing, public safety, education, and the economy, and that you got answers on some of the difficult issues we addressed.
We want to hear from you!
As I explained at all four town hall meetings, hearing from you is vital to our work. I hope you will continue to reach out to my office directly to let me know where you stand on bills I will be voting on.
I also encourage you to testify on these bills either in person or using our remote testimony option. You can also sign-in on a bill without testifying to share your opinion on the proposed legislation.
Click here for instructions on other ways to participate in the process.
If you missed our in-person town halls and would like a chance to hear from us please join Rep. Michelle Caldier and me this Saturday, March 18, at 3 p.m. for our virtual town hall.
We initially had the virtual event set up to require preregistration but have opted not to require registration after hearing from some concerned residents in the 26th District.
To join us for the virtual town hall Saturday, March 18, at 3 p.m. just click here.
You can ask questions during the event or send questions for us ahead of time here.
I hope to see you there!
