Rep. Spencer Hutchins delivers powerful no speech on bill that erodes parental rights

In a late night debate Wednesday, Rep. Spencer Hutchins, R-Gig Harbor, gave a powerful and emotional NO speech as he spoke against Senate Bill 5599. The bill would allow shelters for runaways, host homes and others to hide kids seeking gender affirming or reproductive healthcare from their parents by exempting them from parental notification requirements.
