Rep. Spencer Hutchins a No vote on local even year elections

Rep. Spencer Hutchins, R-Gig Harbor, speaks against House Bill 1932 to allow local jurisdictions to switch from odd to even year elections. During debate on the House Floor, Hutchins explained how the change is unfair to voters as it would further nationalize elections and drowned out important local issues. The bill passed the House 52-45.
